    1881 (Jan 1): Locally surcharged "½" on 1 s. lilac, Setting 4-7, surcharge Type 5, an unused example, of good colour, perfs. somewhat blunted but complete all round, showing variety "Surcharge Double", of fine appearance, slight wrinkles on reverse, without gum.
