    1911 (Jan 11): Composite Essay for the proposed £ 1 value as submitted, with printed Edward VII and Crown in green inset in ST. VINCENT / ONE £1 POUND frame printed in purple on imperforate white glazed card, the join being hand-painted in Chinese white; marked "Dupl." at lower left, lettered "A" at top and dated "Jan 10th '11" in black ink. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 5557. Unadopted and unique.rnrn
