    Austrian Levant PO's in Macedonia 1843: Lettersheet from Serres, Macedonia to Pest, struck with fine SERRES handstamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 614) in black. Reverse with 'NETTO DI FUORA E SPORCO DI DENTRO' disinfection handstamp applied at Semlin and corresponding wax seal. Reverse shows '2' (pi.) for the journey within the Ottoman Empire up to Semlin, charged '12' kreuzer upon arrival. Some toning, but a fresh and fine cover,
