DDSG in Romania 1867c: Part paid Entire letter from Braila to Linz bearing 1866 DDSG 10 kr. lilac, perf. 9½ (corner fault), tied by fair strike of circular "D.D.S.G. / IBRAILA / P.P." in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 802). As the DDSG adhesive paid only the journey to Orsova, the item was taxed with '10x' (kr.) in red resulting from 5 kr. missing postage for the Austrian part of the journey and 5 kr. additional tax (at a later time point somebody tried to erase this due note). The entire with toning, in spite of the imperfections mentioned above a most interesting combination of DDSG adhesive and taxation in Austria, in addition to the usage of the very scarce obliterator which was introduced in 1844 as one of the first DDSG handstamps for usage on stampless mail.
