    1873: 'Estero' 40 c. rose and 1879 10 c. blue, used on small piece, each cancelled by superb strikes of MONTEVIDEO barred obliterators in blue applied at the Consular Agency (Serra / Dal Negro Type A). Insignificant bend on the top stamp, an exceptionally rare cancellation - only one cover recorded with these stamps cancelled thus. Cert. Sorani (1992).
