    1870: Entire letter from Blidah Algeria to Alger, bearing Bordeaux 10 c. bistre report 1 in a horizontal pair, fresh colour and good to enormous margins with parts of two neighbouring stamps, tied by Gros Chiffres '5013' numeral lozenge, despatch "BLIDAH ALGÉRIE 10 AVRIL 1871" cds alongside.
