    Mexico 1879/82: Juarez issue 24 c. violet, optd. 54-83, a fine single example used on 1883 mourning over to Rome, tied by bold strike of oval "UNION POSTAL UNIVERSAL / MEXICO" datestamp (Sept 26) in blue. Reverse with Rome arrival cds (Oct 26) and readdressed to Loreto. A scarce stamp on letter.
