    1881: Quetzal 2 c. brown & green, a horizontal strip of five folded around edge of 1885 'Hill' cover addressed to Nova Scotia, cancelled by segmented cork handstamps in black with 'Correos / Guatemala' cds (Jan 15) in violet at left. Reverse with San Francisco transit cds (Feb 2) and Halifax arrival. Envelope trimmed at left not affecting the adhesives, an unusual destination for this issue.
