    1876/77: Dom Pedro 200 r. black rouletted, a single example used on 1883 cover from Rio de Janeiro to Zurich, Switzerland tied by segmented cork cancel in black with Rio cds (Feb 1) alongside. Carried on French Packet 'Sénégal' with octagonal 'RIO DE JANEIRO / PAQ. FR. J. No. 3' datestamp in red (Salles fig. 1080) and reverse with Zurich arrival cds (Feb 25). An attractive cover to an unusual destination at this date.
