    International Postal Connections to Europe - Greece 1869 (Oct 15): Cover from Meteline to Syra franked with 1867 10 s. blue tied by "METELINE 15/10" cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 566). Reverse with Lloyd Smyrna transit and Syros arrival cds's (Oct 14). Upon arrival, the cover was taxed with '20' lepta in blue crayon for inland postage with vertical pair of Large Hermes Head 10 lepta orange on blued with touched to large margins, tied by Syros datestamp. The cover with some soiling, the 10 soldi with file fold, but still a fine cover.
