    Austrian Levant Rates 1859 (Aug 14): Unpaid entire letter from Brasov to Jassy, struck with "KRONSTADT 14 / 8" cds's in black with red framed 'PORTO' in red alongside. Reverse with ornamental "JASSY 20 / 8" cds in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 757), charged upon arrival with "15/10" soldi. Cover lightly soiled, but a very rare usage showing the 25 so. rate before 1866 to Moldavia with 15 so. for Austria and 10 so. for the Levant, illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 271.
