    1879 (Feb 26): Great Britain 1876/79 2½ d. rosy mauve pl. 13 used on 1879 cover from Nicosia to London tied by fine "969." obliterator with NICOSIA / CYPRUS circular datestamp (Feb 26, code A) alongside at left. Reverse with LARNACA / CYPRUS transit (Feb 26, code B) and London arrivals (March 8). Extremely rare and superb.
