    1881 (Feb): Sailor's concessionary rate cover to Eye, Suffolk with Great Britain 1864/79 1 d. red pl. 192 in a horizontal pair tied to defective but extraordinary hand-painted envelope showing a delightful illustration of the "HMS Turquoise at Coquimbo, Chile" (altered to "Callao" in manuscript) endorsed "From Thomas Moss" and countersigned by his Commanding Officer 'C.J. Turner' at lower left, the adhesives tied by light "PANAMA / C35" duplex in black. Reverse with Eye arrival cds (March 14). Charming and of great rarity.
