    1876 (Oct 24): Great Britain 1864 1 d. red pl. 190, 1876 4 d. vermilion pl. 15 horizontal pair and 1873 1 s. green pl. 12 all used on double rate cover from Ponce to France tied by two strikes of the "F88" obliterator in black with 'Ponce - Porto Rico / Paid' cds (Oct 24) in black. Underpaid for the double rate (marked '2' at upper left) and struck with unframed 'T' in black (early usage). London cds on reverse (Nov 13) in red and three French datestamps, charged '13' décimes due to pay upon receipt. Slight flap fault and trivial imperfections but a rare and most unusual cover.
