    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1851/55: Perkins Bacon (1 d.) blue on blued paper in a rich shade, a used example with clear to large margins all round on 1852 entire letter to Greenock, Scotland endorsed 'p. packet' tied by "1" numeral of Port of Spain in black. Manuscript '1/-' due upon delivery, backstamped with double arc 'Trinidad' cds (July 10), London cds in red (Aug 2) and Greenock arrival in blue. Slight file folds do not affect the fine appearance of a scarce entire.
