    1882/83: 2½ d. on 1 d. lake (2) and single 1885 4 d. red-brown, used on 1885 cover addressed to His Excellency William Brandford Griffiths, Governor of the Gold Coast in Accra, originally franked by the single 4 d. and then the two 2½ d. adhesivs added, all tied by the vertical "A10" obliterator with 'Kingstown / St. Vincent' cds in red below (Aug 9). Reverse with Liverpool transit in red (Aug 24) and thereafter probably bagged as diplomatic mail. A few imperfections but an extraordinary destination.
