    1861: 1 d. rose-red, two examples used with 1862 6 d. deep green on 1867 cover to the Duke of Polignac in Paris, tied by three strikes of the Kingstown "A10" obliterator with 'St. Vincent' despatch cds adjacent (Dec 25) all struck in brown-red ink. Manuscript '7d.' credit in red crayon at left and 'London / Paid' transit cds (Jan 14, 1868) with corresponding 'PD' in oval in red. Reverse with Paris arrival cds (Jan 15).
