    Provisional Surcharges 1888 (May): 'ONE / PENNY.' on 2½ d. ultramarine, a used example of good colour showing variety "Surcharge Inverted" and shifted to right, lightly cancelled by "A12" obliterator in black. Slightest of stains on reverse not detracting from the appearance of an exceptional example of a very rare stamp. Cert. BPA (1993) Gi = £ 11'000.
