    1872/73: 3 d. orange, an Imperforate Plate Proof block of four, marginal from left of sheet on surface glazed medium paper, overprinted CANCELLED in black (Samuel Type D7), fresh and very fine. It is believed a pane or sheet of this imperforate was produced especially for the 1872 South Kensington Exhibition.
