    1883 (Nov 20): De La Rue Colour Trials (6) using the 1 s. value, wmk. Crown CA, perf. 12, printed in rose, grey, brown, violet, yellow and olive-green, unused without gum and probably taken from an "Appendix" sheet in the DLR archives similar to that illustrated in the "De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 2119 where these Trials were used to identify the "Proposed Schemes of Colours" for the 1884 issue. Rare and very seldom seen.
