    1857 (Jan): 4 d. rose-carmine on white paper, wmk. Large Garter, a used horizontal pair on 1859 cover to Lübeck tied by 'Newcastle-On-Tyne / 545' duplexes (March 6) in black. Oval 'P' in red below and fine 'Hamburg' fleuron struck in transit (March 9). An attractive cover paying the under ½ ounce rate to an unusual destination. Reverse with London transit in red and Lübeck (No.1) arrival.
