    1893: Provisional 40 pa. on GB ½ d. vermilion, two examples each with broken 'S' in PARAS, tied to registered cover to Alexandria, Egypt by 'British Post Office / Constantinople' cds's (Feb 27) with further strike below dated the following day. Reverse with Alexandria arrival cds (March 3) in black. Some edge wear but scarce.
