    Mail from the Levant to Greece via French Paquebot 1867: Cover from French P. O. in Constantinople sent unpaid to Athens, struck with 'Constantinople / Turquie' cds on despatch (March 27), with manuscript '50' (lepta) charge in red crayon (30 lepta ship fee plus 20 lepta internal charge) and franked on arrival with 1862/67 deep orange on blued and 40 l. brown rose lilac on greyish (an interesting shade), tied by 'Athens' cds (Marrch 17, julian) with repeated strike on reverse. Minor imperfections but an attractive cover. Hellas 18+20.
