    Paris printing 1861: 20 l. blue in a horizontal pair with fresh colour, tied by '6' numeral of Syros to double rate entire letter to Tripolis, sent on the 8th day of issue with corresponding cds (Oct 8) alongside, reverse with indistinct arrival cds. The pair touched on three sides as it was torn, not cut, suggesting some inexperience with the new adhesives which is maybe also reflected in the wrong usage of the PED handstamp in red which was intended for mail abroad. An interesting entire Hellas 5a.
