    Rettimo / Rethymno 1864: 5 s. rose, perf. 9½ used in combination with 1867 10 s. blue on 1868 bilingually addressed entire letter from Rettimo to Trieste, tied by circular RETTIMO datestamp (30/11) well struck in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 549). Reverse with oval Trieste arrival (12/12) in black. A magnificent mixed issue combination cover in the foremost quality, an Exhibition item. Ex collection Wurst.rnrnNote: It is interesting to note that the Jerger, Cihangir, Houser and Schmitt collections had no examples of this franking.
