    Austrian P.O. in Chios 1863/1901: Collection on leaves covers (3) and loose stamps/pieces (14) with SCIO-CESME datestamps (Tchilinghirian fig. 560) on rare 1863 2 s. yellow, perf. 14 with two examples on piece, five attractive pieces with 1864 issue, perf. 9½, including 10 s. blue and two 15 a. brown and 1864 5 s. rose and 1867 10 s. blue mixed issue franking neatly tied to piece, 1867 10 s. blue used on 1880 entire to Syra; three line SCIO-CESME datestamp (fig. 561) with 1883 10 s. usages on piece in black and 1888 1 pi. on 10 kr. pieces (3) all cancelled in violet;rninteresting 1901 cover from Chios to Mersina with 1 pi. tied SCIO / OESTERREICHISCHE POST cds, mailed via Beirut office etc. Generally fine, a scarce group.
