    Austrian Lloyd Agency in Vathy of Samos 1895 (Dec. 26): Swiss response stationery postcard 10 rp. red, both parts sent together and still attached, the inquiry part from Basel to Vathy at Samos with Constantinople-Galata (Dec 30) and Smyrna (Jan 1) transit cds's, the response part with "VATHY 6/1 96 SAMOS" despatch cds (Tchilinghirian fig. 586) in black, Basel receiver aside (15 I 96). Fine and interesting item, the first Vathy arrival cds from 1895 is a new first usage following the H. Smith handbook.
