    Lebanon 1871 (Aug 14): Entire letter from Beirut to Genova at 23 soldi rate, franked with 1867 3 soldi green, 5 s. red and 15 s. brown, coarse whiskers, all tied by Berutti cds in blackish brown (Tchilinghirian/Tranmer fig. 3) with transits of Lloyd Agenzie/Smirne on reverse (Aug 18) and Brindisi and Genova Aug 25) cds's alongside.
