    1863: De La Rue Proof, 1 d. value in carmine-red, imperforate on unwatermaked paper without gum, of beautiful rich colour. Note the lower right corner ornament without continuation of the lower frame line. Tiny scissor cut in margin only at lower right not affecting the delightful appearance of a rare Proof.
