    1886 (May 17): Stamp Duty £ 1 lilac & claret overprinted POSTAGE in black, wmk. NSW upwards, rough perf. 12, an unused example in a deep shade, overprinted SPECIMEN (Type 5) struck twice at top in black. Fine appearance, a very scarce stamp as just 100 examples overprinted and only a small portion of this total would have had the double overprint, large part og. Cert. Ceremuga (2007).
