    Woodblock Issue 1854 (Sept 13): 6 d. dull reddish brown, imperforate, a fine used example with good margins all round, used on 1857 entire letter endorsed 'per Mermaid' to London, neatly tied by circular "1" numeral obliterator of Melbourne, with split rate "3d" handstamp in red and London 'Paid' cds on front (March 10). Reverse with Melbourne despatch datestamp (Dec 16) in black. A fine entire.
