    1850 (April-July): 2 d. deep bright blue, Plate II, position 12, intermediate impression, a very fine used example with large margins all round and part of sheet margin at top, used on 1850 cover from Bathurst to Sydney tied by "9" numeral obliterator (with numeral reversed) of Bathurst in black. Reverse with 'Bathurst / Crown / New S. Wales' datestamp (Aug 1) and Sydney arrival cds (Aug 3) in black. An exceptional and charming cover. Signed A.
