    1854 (Nov 1): 1 r. bright blackish-blue on thin white paper, the magnificent and famous irregular block of twenty-three, with ample to mostly very large margins all round and of deep resonant colour, all individually cancelled by light strikes of the six barred parilla handstamp in black.
