    1896: Cover to Cooktown, Queensland franked by Queensland 1897 1 d. vermilion pair tied by bold "BNG" obliterator in black with 'Port Moresby / British New Guinea' datestamp (May 29). Reverse with flap missing and Cooktown arrival cds (June 18). Some minor imperfections but a scarce usage.
