    Lithographed by Thomas Ham 1852 (Dec): Half-Length 3 d. blue, Second State, fourth printing, a single example used on second sheet of entire letter from Melbourne to Amsterdam, Netherlands endorsed 'Per 'Argo' via Southampton', tied by part oval '1/V' Melbourne obliterator with despatch datestamp (Aug 19) alongside. Various manuscript rates (including 1/2d. British charge) and reverse with under-inked London transit cds in red. Scarce cover to an unusual destination.
