    Chalon Head Issues, locally printed 1860/67: 6 d. dull slate-grey, wmk. '6', a fine example with ample to large margins all round, used on 1865 cover to Yarra Bend Asylum, Victoria tied by "64" numeral obliterator in black with OATLANDS cds alongside (April 7). Reverse with seal removed and diamond 'POST OFFICE / LAUNCESTON / Crown' datestamp in red (April 8) and Melbourne cds in blue (April 10). A fresh and fine cover.
