Second Rouletted Issue 1860/69: 'Ten Pence' in black on 9 d. yellow, wmk. Large Star, rouletted, variety "Surcharge Inverted at Top", a rejoined horizontal pair cancelled by 'Adelaide / GPO' datestamps (Oct 13, 1869) in black. The cancellations leaving the variety (which is only known in used condition and of which just 17 examples are currently recorded) very clear; this example being used on the same day as the example in the Michael Blake collection.
