    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855 (Oct): 6 d. deep blue, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, a fine example with large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at base, used on 1856 cover to Deptford, Kent endorsed 'Overland' tied by numeral obliterator and by London 'Paid' arrival cds in red (Sept 18). 'Port Adelaide / South Australia' despatch cds in black at left (May 27). A few scuffs to envelope but a fine and scarce cover.
