    Ballon Monté No. 60 1871: 'Formule aux drapeaux' written to Brussels, franked by 1867 Napoleon laureated 30 c. brown, tied by Paris Star '5' with "PARIS R. DE BONDY 13 JANV. 71" despatch cds and framed PD in red alongside, reverse with arrival cds (Jan 16). This item was flown from besieged Paris on the 60th Ballon 'Vaucanson', a rare formular with content in French and German language. Cert. Roumet (2017) Maury = € 4'160.
