    Ballon Monté No. 47 1870 (Dec 20): Printed Formula entire letter used to Dinan endorsed 'Par Ballon Monté and with 'dept.' at base' franked by 1863/67 20 c. blue, tied by light Paris Star with 'Paris / Malesherbes' datestamp (Dec 20, 2nd levée) alongside in black. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Lavoisier" with Dinan arrival cds's (Dec 24 and Dec 25) on reverse. A scarce formula envelope Maury = € 500+.
