    Ballon Monté No. 3 1870 (Sept 26): Entire letter to Boulogne, franked by 1863/67 20 c. blue, tied by Paris Star 24 with 'Paris / Rue de Clery' datestamp (Sept 26, 7th levée) alongside in black. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Les Etats-Unis" with Boulogne arrival cds (Oct 2) on reverse. Scarce Maury = € 775.
