    1863: 1 s. bright emerald green, two huge margins and imperceptibly shaved at base, used on 1864 cover to London, tied by part CGH triangular handstamp in black with CAPE TOWN / CAPE OF GOOD HOPE cds  on reverse (March 21) in red. London datestamp adjacent (April 25) in red and forwarded on to Trinity College, Cambridge with Great Britain 1858/79 12 d. red pl. 79 tied by 'London / SW30' duplex of the same day. The cover with faults including one flap and portion of upper left of cover missing but a rare and spectacular usage. Cert. BPA (1990).rnrnProvenance: Collection Louise Boyd Dale & Alfred F.
