    "Halifax Airmail" 1921 (Nov 17): 35 c. red, narrow spacing, variety "No Stop after 1921" (a total of only 1'112 stamps can exist thus), used on First Flight cover addressed to Halifax tied by 'St. John's Nfld.' machine cancellation (Nov 24). The attempted Flight was delayed and then abandoned on January 28, 1922 and the mail was sent on to Halifax by rail - arriving on February 4, reverse with Halifax return datestamp. Slight hinge remant on front otherwise a fresh and fine cover. Scott C3f = $ 400 on cover/ Gi = £ 275 off cover.
