    Printed by Thomas Ham 1864/65: 2 d. blue, wmk. Small Star, perf. 13, a fine used horizontal strip of three, left hand pair showing the variety: "Imperforate Between Vertically", with a double line of horizontal perforations at top. Lightly cancelled and nigh on faultless but for slight crease of no importance on third stamp. Basset Hull records, on page 106 of 'The Postage Stamps of Queensland', "a horizontal strip of three of the 2 d. blue with rough perforation 13 has been seen with double perforation at top, the two stamps on the right being the variety imperforate between". This is the same strip erroneously described in Basset Hull. Extremely rare, just one other pair exists of this variety, a major rarity of both of Australian and Queensland classic philately Gi = £ 13'000.rnrnProvenance: Collection J.H.
