    German Post Offices 1902: Registered canvas backed cover to Constantinople franked by 1900 5 pi. on 1 m. carmine-rose tied by two strikes of JERUSALEM / DEUTSCHE POST cds's (Aug 22) in black. Jerusalem registration label at left and reverse with German P.O. in Constantinople arrival cds (Sept 1) alongside blue & white 'Kaiserlich Deutsches Konsulat / Jerusalem' wafer seal. Slightly trimmed at sides but a rare high value usage.
