    1924 (Oct 9): Registered cover from Amman to Alexandria, Egypt franked on reverse April 1923 'Arab Govt. of the East 9 Sha'ban 1341' overprint ½ pi. scarlet with overprint inverted (unpriced by SG), 1 pi. blue, 1½ pi. lilac (overprint shifted downwards) and 5 pi. olive all tied by 'Amman District' datestamps in blue. 'Haifa-Kantara / TPO South' cds (Oct 11) alongside and Alexandria arrival cds. A scarce and attractive cover.
