    Mail from Greek Post Offices in the Levant via Austrian Lloyd 1863: Entire letter from Alexandria, Egypt to Athens endorsed 'Col Vapore Austriaco' at top, sent unpaid and struck with 'Alexandria / (Turkiya)' despatch cds in black (April 30). Manuscript '140' (lepta) charge in red crayon for triple rate and franked on arrival with 1862/67 20 l. bright blue (3) and single 80 l. carmine, all fine and very fresh shades, neatly tied by Athens datestamps (May 6) in black. Couple of tiny imperfections to front panel but rare and most attractive entire. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 156.
