    Mail from France to Greece 1867: Entire letter sent unpaid from Marseille to Athens, struck with LIGNE U / PAQ. FR. No. 1 Paquebot datestamp in black (Salles 881) applied on the 'Godavery', '188' (lepta) marked in red crayon at right (1½ times the single rate of 112 lepta = 168 lepta + 20 lepta for internal delivery), franked on arrival with 1862/67 1 l. deep brown, 2 l. yellow brown, 5 l. green on greenish, 20 l. blue and two 80 l. carmine all tied by Athens cds's (Jan 12, julian) in black. Reverse with Piraeus transit cds and Athens arrival cds. A rare and most attractive five colour franking.
