    Mail from Austria to Greece 1872: Entire letter sent unpaid from Trieste to Athens endorsed 'Col Vapore' struck with 'Triest' oval datestamp (July 20), with 1871/72 10 l. deep orange, 20 l. blue and 1868 40 l. lilac on blued, all with four margins but crossed by file fold, tied by 'Athens' datestamps (July 13, julian) with corresponding '70' (lepta) in red crayon at left. Reverse with further Athens cds. Attractive despite file fold, carried under the Austria / Greek convention of 1867, showing the reduced rate direct from Trieste.
