    1865/72: First issue collection with ½ r. blue (shades) with 160 examples unused (4) and used (64, much cancellation interest incl. Chimbo, Cuenca and Pillaro manuscript usages), additional ½ r. usages on covers or fronts (10) as single frankings including one cancelled in red at Quito; 1 r. green used (17) and an example on front with ½ r.; 1 r. yellow unused or used (74) incl. blue paper examples and a mss. cancelled block of four, covers (4) incl. usages with a pair, and block of four on reverse of a 'Chavez' entire, 4 r. venetian red used etc. Condition varies but an issue seldom encountered so fine in such quantity, a splendid lot with much of interest to the specialist.
